The best FM talk show: Beth and Bill

Is Beth and Bill. They do "real life" real well. They are very in touch with community events, charities and their local audience.
They're topical, hip and very, very funny.

The music might not be your cup of tea (it's not really mine, except maybe Rythym and Bluesday Tuesday) but they don't really play much music.

That's why I say it's the best FM talk, and now that Leibo's gone, I'd say it's between them and Barry Young for best talk show AM or FM.<P ID="edit"><FONT class="small">Edited by modul8 on 01/11/06 09:02 PM.</FONT></P>
 
Wow. Is that a real, sincere post or is it totally dry sarcastic wit?

I'm rooting for the latter.

Every time I hear or see them, I feel like I should don my "flair" and head over to Chotchkies for happy hour with Michael Bolton.

(I was unsure whether this was dry (sahara) wit or not, I guess Beth and Bill are hip compared to the painful Don & Kim)
 
This is about the most dreadfully boring show on radio. Beth just complains and Bill is just there for fill in laughter. Beth & Bill had there hay day...but I think for a good topical and entertaining show I am listening to The Edge 103.9 or Tim & Willy.

I feel Beth and Bill are so bad that I would rather listen to Polka Time with Polka Frank on KMYL...or pay for prayer radio.

And the times that I accidentally do land on 99.9 in am drive, I hear that damn bell and it just grates on me.

What's even worse is when they do their cross promos on girlfriend TV. Who's worse: ex Guns N Roses, Krokus and Ratt groupie Tara Hitchcock pretending be interested or B&B having egos so large that they actually think she's into them? As Napoleon Dynamite would say "GOOOOSH!"

And if Notre Dame is so important, why don't they pack up and head to South Bend? That's about the right size market for them now.

If you don't have anything nice to say, we'd probably get along well.
