THE BEST / WORST STATION TO WORK FOR?

Curious- with all the stations bought, sold and flipped recently, where would you say is the best station or company to work in the market now?
Who treats their employees the best?
Who's the worst?

It probably depends on whether it's on-air guys, part-timers, or actual PD's. From the way you guys talked about Gary Lewis and Rob Roberts at the party, they don't sound like horrible guys to work with. But if you're Gary Lewis or Rob Roberts, it probably sucks because they're gettin yanked around by Cumulus.

Adam Bomb and Jenners (although that didn't turn out as well) both came up from Miami to work with Roberts, so he may be an alright dude.

how many shots did they buy u?

There really aren't any good stations to work for these days, are you kidding me? Your working for suits that have no clue as to what the advertiser/client really requires in order to spend money in radio. All they need is results, and it just doesn't happen like it used to for them anymore.

Go work for Cumulus and let me know how it goes...lol. Radio station aren't able to treat their employees good anymore. It's a whole new world, welcome to the panic channel.

I agree. Not only is the advertiser/station relationship screwed up, but it doesn't matter if a station is billing tens of millions - if the stock goes in the tank, the first thing that goes is talent. I like to compare it to a restaurant - if your sales are down, sell bad food in hopes people will come back.
