The Big Game F-Bomb?

Did Terry Bradshaw drop the bomb on the pregame show? Check it out during the segment when Howie Long put on the Boston Red Sox hat. It sounds like Terry said "They had something that fit that big ****ing head?".

If so, what will the FCC do to the Fox affiliates?

dude that's exactly what i thought he said too. i tivo'd it and after playing it back, it seems that was a big fing f bomb!! can't wait to see what happens.

Just went back through it on my disk, it was when they were making their picks as to who would win - towards the end of the pregame show.

Howie was kind of talking over Terry, but it sure sounded like "big bucket head" to me, really no question about it, the fairly clear (to me) "t" at the end of the word made it clear that it was "bucket" and not "f-in."

Just my take. If nobody posts it on YouTube, I can if you really want to see it.

Terry's been doing this too long, he has better judgment than that.

The way I read it described earlier in the day somebody made it sound like they'd come back from spots and didn't know their mikes were on but that was not the case at all, it was right in the middle of a segment.

Too many people jumping to a conclusion hoping to stir up a non-issue into something bigger.

It was 'bucket.'

Next story....

I knew it wasn't the f-bomb when the first link pointed to DailyKos. There's a reliable source!

Bucket - no question about it.

Reminds me of Super Bowl XL when, while viewing a replay, Al Michaels seemed to note that Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers was "f-ing close to the goal line". Of course, it took my inebriated brain a few seconds to figure out that he had actually said WALKING.

One day, at the Clampett mansion:
"Terruh Bray-ad-shaw sayed th' eff word on the Tee-vee, Uncle Jay-id! Ah done heerd it mahself while Miss Jane was helpin' me with mah cypherin'!"
"Wooooo Doggies, Jethro!" ::)

Kinda like that episode of "Leave it to Beaver" where a character responded, "'s workin' great, Beav!" when some could construe it as saying "F---in' great, Beav"! No, really.

I think this would be a good time to suggest that some of you CLEARLY need to have your hearing check. Make that appointment today! :D
