The Big Game

A question for Indy radio sales people.

I see Super Bowl advertising on billboards and buses all over town. Is any of that Super Bowl money being spent on local radio?

Yes. I've heard ads on WIBC promoting Super-Bowl related activities for a few weeks.

TV stations are going more overboard for this than they do for a thunderstorm. Most local people care more about what's going on with the Colts changes than about the $1000 per ticket parties they won't be going to.

Ol' Gary's voice and the processed MONSTER of a 9-50/W-X-L-W float in my mind... "SOMETHING BIG IS COMING, THIS WEEK......TO INDY......." My brother and Sis-In-Law are skipping town to rest... My niece working on the hosting, will look like Sha-Nade O'Conner by the end of the week...(No hair left?)..... But, Indy will host and do it proud... Hey Peyton? How about a quarterback coaches job?

I saw Radio Disney doing some promoting in the Super Bowl Village this week. Didn't know they were still around in Indy. I had heard that their long time sales gal is going to be starting at WTTS sometime soon.
