THE BIG TIME/THE BIG TIME SATURDAY NIGHT WITH WHITNEY ALLEN

She used to host "After Midnite Weekends"

For the past two years or so, she's been hosting "The Big Time"/"The Big Time Saturday Night" (Dial-Global.com-On Top, click "Our Programming")

If you know about her, please tell us your thoughts regarding her?

For me, she is one of THE BEST!!!!! Radio Personalities in the world. The way she talk, it make you want to listen more and more. She sounds very inspiring to listen to. I wish it came on here in Boston, but that station programmers know what they are doing, they don't know what they missing.

Anyways, she is the BEST Radio Personality in Country Radio

Thank you very much for your time

Actually I agree with what you said. I don't know much about her but her show is on KWLI 92.5 here in Denver. and I don't listen to her show much but Iam going to start listening to her more and i my opinion she's about as good as Lia ( She's another weeknight country syndicator). But anyhow the stations in Boston are really missing out on Whitney Allen.

I Hope what I said made sense to you.

thank you @ChaseW. Yes, I am also familuare with Lia. Her show is also good. No haters here. I like her show as well.
But I'm more familuare with Whitney Allen.

True, I just wish they'd put Whitney Allen on here in Boston. The cloest she's on to here is up in New Hampsire on Saturday nights on 97.5.

As I said, they know what they're doing, not me.

I just wish Whitney Allen can be on here in Boston (weeknights and Saturday Nights), that would make our Country station 100% better then what it is now. It's just my thoughts.

For now, all we (In Boston) can do for now, is be thankfull that we do have a Country Music Radio Station. I'm thankfull for that.

thank you all for your time and responces

In the meantime, here is Whitney Allen website for "The Big Time"/"The Big Time Saturday Night" her show is on LIVE Weeknight and Saturday Night 7pm-Midnight Eastern Time

I'm a big After Midnite fan. I loved her when she did After Midnite and still do whenever I catch her on the Big Time. The shows are very similar and she seems more comfortable doing her own thing obviously. I still do miss her on After Midnite weekends though.

WTHI-FM carries the Saturday version of the Big Time. Definitely as good as Lia.

I wish my local station (KKGO, Go Country 105) would put the weeknight show back on. They originally had her when they first started, then they went local host, then fired the afternoon guy and bumped up the evening host. Now they are automated after 7pm until 5am. I liked hearing Whitney and the callers from all over were interesting. If you are listening (er reading) guys, put her back!

They do still carry the Saturday show, so thanks for that, but on Saturdays I listen to the Opry on the WSM stream, so that is a conflict for me to hear Whitney.

Totally agree... I feel like we're being deprived here! :(

Whitney was introduced to me when I was in Atlantic City on vacation a few years back on 107.3 WPUR fm.she was awesome as the host of the show.So everytime I go to AC I will tune in The Big Time show and have my md recorder running.maybe I should tune into the WPUR stream.

Whitney & Blair have been colleagues & friends for over 15 years going back to their days at CHR/Pop powerhouse KIIS/LA before 'After Midnite' was launched in 1993.

I listen to both of them as much as I can online; Blair also has 'The Blair Garner Show', a two hour show leading into his six-hour 'After Midnite' funfest.

They're just about the two best country radio personalities out there IMHO; I've never heard 'Lia', but she's also a highly regarded persnality, and has won her fair share of awards over the years.

Do you people even listen to this show? She's live for the first 90 minutes or so, then the rest is tracked. She takes five talk breaks an hour, none longer than 30 seconds. Her Saturday night show is even worse...its nothing more than a "best of" show from the weekdays. It's only there to compete with Bo Reynolds, which is pretty sad.

Lia? She's even worse. She sounds like Delilah minus about 60 IQ points. A test pattern would get the same ratings.
