THE BLIZZARD PROGRAMMING (WFBO)

Heard the blizzard recently while traveling south of Jacksonville ! VERY typical of what radio has become.
Boring, NO FUN, Less Talk. Chris should hire someone who really has the talent for programming and stick
to what he's good at: S A L E S.

WOW! Its a little 100 watt LPFM that sounds better then some of the big boys at times.

I guess we have a difference of opinion on the things you mentioned. Our listeners tell us were more fun then ever.

And what station do you program, if I can ask?

I have a couple personal friends who work at WFBO, its a little station thats doing its best to keep the oldies format. I hope they keep their Sunday Night DJ, he does a good job spinning some great oldies.

Its a great little staff of talented people. As you can see Radio Alpha only came here once to post that little diddy. And I didn't see his resume posted after that.

On my way to and from Palm Coast on Friday I listened to The Blizzard. The station sounded very good. Excellent VO talent/imaging...quite impressive coming from an LPFM. Another thing impressive...the localism. Shortly before Noon the host was giving updates about a fire and road blockage on US-1. Mixed in with the local news updates and weathercast....The Blizzard was impressive. You should be proud of it Chris! :)

We are very proud of it. It took a lot of work. However we have more work to do, and I hope that we get that chance.

There's a lot of jealousy in this world, and we've certainly seen our share of it here.
