The Bloodletting has started in Dothan.....watch your back

You can know for sure there will be a AC station in Dothan.....the past will repeat itself.
They have had great success with this format....females 25-54....(Sunny 93.3 etc.)....
And with the numbers will move the cluster to #1-4.
 
John Garrett is Ok at mornings on BAM BAD..but he does not have to say I know nothing..
What I do know about Bluewater, it's bankruptcy, and it's relationship with Alta comes from a mole at inside Bluewater. They do not "talk in the halls" but out on the street. It is good that John G is loyal to who signs his paycheck as it should be. At least he is lucky to be employed in local radio unlike so many who have been forced out the door due to the weak situation in broadcasting...and John knows he can do quality production for others if the radio gig goes away.
 
Buster, you don't know anything about Bluewater....and your mole? Give us a break. What makes you think the "rank and file" in the hals know anything either. Bluewater is privately and closely held and does not publish financials. The 2 year old bankruptsy documents you are so fond of quoting aren't worth the paper they are printed on. And as far as Alta is concerned, unless I have misread the ownership reports....Alta doesn't own a majority of Bluewater. The ownership of Bluewater is: McQueen, Peters, Barber, and then Alta. Alta is in the minority with less than 50% of the membership units (it's an LLC). Do us a favor an don't pontificate on things you don't understand.

on the 8th Floor? Several cuts to be made there.....
 
I know more than anyone alive about the ways of radio. After 30 years in the business, I've lived it. However, I'm talking about this situation.
 
Well hello folks,I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer,but I understand that several petitions to deny the sale have been filed with the FCC,so if that's the case,the Mississippi mafia might not get their way in this take over.( just saying)This whole deal stinks to high heaven.It ain't over till the fat lady sings.We'll just have to wait and see.

The fat lady nor your wishes have anything to do with this. You can rest assured
their home work was done before this was filed with the FCC. They have been very
successful in several sales.

Hey da music,I am very familar with this family,having worked for them for about 6 years,and I know they did their home work.As far as wishes,I have none.And the fat lady can sing or not,I really could care less.But I would not put anything past the Mississippi gang.Stranger things have happened.Regardless of what everyone thinks,this ain't a done deal yet.
