KAGM/Albuquerque Adds Santa Fe FM Simulcast
ALL ACCESS hears that AMERICAN GENERAL MEDIA has flipped its Urban KBOM (94.7 THE BOMB)/SANTA FE to a simulcast of its Talk KAGM/ALBUQUERQUE. The former KAGM simulcast on KTRC-A/SANTA FE ends and is replaced by AIR AMERICA RADIO.

It hasn't been The Bomb for quite some time. It was smooth jazz when I was in New Mexico a couple of months ago. Given that KSFQ 101.1 has also flipped to smooth jazz "101.1 The Cat," it wasn't going to be long before one of them flipped. The real question is what's going on at 1400, which is where Air America was moved so KAGM could simulcast on 1260.

KVSF 1400 Santa Fe is now running sports talk all night, no clue how long that will last. Haven't listened during daytime, but what happened to Doug Stephan? He must be on one of their abundant stations.
______________

Guess that shoots CC's plans to expand libtalk into Santa Fe via 1350 and streaming.

Deadpool, anyone?

Doug Stephan is still on KAGM and now the 94.7 station until 6AM. Now I'm wishing KAGM would run Larry Ahrens at their usual 6AM time and continue Doug Stephan on the other station, as it gets good coverage into the north.
Here in Santa Fe, KAGM 106.3 is still a better signal than 94.7, at least at night.
______________

KABQ 1350 from Albuquerque

Do you mean KABQ 1350 from Albuquerque? We can't hear it in Santa Fe. Maybe some areas during the day.
______________
