From Facebook it looks like Derek Madden is leaving The Bone. Any word on where he's going and who his replacement is? Haven't seen an official announcement.
 
He is on a plane out of town. He took what he says is a great gig, but won't say what it is...the guy he's replacing doesn't know he's canned yet. Madden will do fine wherever it is he's going.

... and no doubt Madden's first job will be to tell his predecessor that he's fired. Gotta love radio.
 
If you count the Asst. PD who's been keeping the chair warm for the past year, he'll be the 5th PD since 2009. And KLOS has been losing to KSWD the past few books. Good luck to him. It's not going to be an easy gig.

Indeed, 10 year KLOS vet Bill Huning (assistant PD) exits. He had been overseeing the programming since Jack Silver left in 2012.

Madden's departure from afternoons on KSAN sets off a chain reaction amongst the Cumulus San Francisco properties.
Bill Pugh, current OM of KSAN + OM/PD of KFOG assumes the PD reigns at KSAN + joins the KFOG Morning Show with Greg Gory + Mud.
Tim Jeffreys leaves the KFOG morning show to take over afternoons on KSAN (Madden's former shift).
Webster returns from KUFX to host afternoons at KFOG (mentioned in another thread).
Dred Scott moves from afternoons to evenings on KFOG.
