And he's a goin to be a drinkin wid ya and hangin out while your a workin and teachin ya all how to speak english. You'd think every other station in da market was payin to have that disasta on da air.
 
HUH? Exactly what part of Coast are you defending from the other post?

1. The use of atrocious diction which wouldn't be tolerated in grade school not to mention by any program director.
2. An extremely weak morning show that does not belong on a HOT AC format with a very good and formidable TOP 40 station in the market.
3. The complete lack of anything creative on the air.
 
How does this and every other thread on this site always go from one point to a completely different one. Initially it was about the bone driver being gone...and ended up tearing down the Coast?

You tell me. Let's be honest here Max, these are some of the same people who see a thread about the Portland market and turn it into how many stations they can pick up in Vermont while driving in Mass; people try to turn conversations about themselves.

I'm not Bill Murphy btw.

Lots of rumors on this release: some might be true, others are funny as hell. Everything from a prima donna attidue to Stan freeing up cash to get a third person on the the country station. (Remember the rumors of how Heidie, the BLM apprentice and a hairdresser, got her job) Things from using the company vehicle too much to him being a "loud mouth Yankee fan".

No matter what you think of Bill Murphy, The Bone, or the Coast, let's hope that another guy in the bizz lands on his feet and make's some coin somewhere else.
 
Well I don't know about the whole "loud mouth yankee" thing but I would iimagine after all the time he was there and the work he did I doubt it was on bad terms. Although losing a job is never a good thing I hope he lands somewhere too. Hate to see anyone that people actually enjoyed listening to just go away.
