Someone please give a rational explanation as to why this operation has not closed its doors. And please, do not make the format change to "The Bone" the scapegoat. They change the format every year, and every time they embarrass themselves "arbitrarily", they blame the format change. Who knows, maybe the bi-annual format flips are *designed* to give them an excuse for failure. Frankly, they are running out of formats to fail with. The money demo ratings in particular would be alarming to a competent programmer.
 
you can blame the format change on mr. edward levine. being that it's an independant company, you'd think levine would have things figured out a long time ago. in time, that station will be gone.
 
I think that this book must be a fluke. For the first time in its five year history, 94 ROCK/THE BONE, has full coverage, over the entire area. Prior to the addition of 93.7, their signal in Schenectady was poor, and up toward Saratoga, it was terrible. Now it is city grade, in both of those locations. I think that they need a little more time, in this new incarnation. The station sounds better than it ever has, and the fact that it can now be heard everywhere, should give them a ratings boost. This first book, as The Bone, seems to show the disappearance of the icountry listeners from 93.7, more than anything else...
 
The other day JR wasn't there and they had Peaches hosting the morning ahow. Now Peaches is a nice guy, but he definately in no way should be hosting a morning show. This is just one example why the Bone will be chewed up and spit out in the end. Levine must be using this as a tax write off.
