The Boston Pops Esplanade Concert

The Boston Pops 4th of July concert ..okay on the 3rd... has become just one big commercial for Liberty Mutual/

I actually thought it was pretty good for the most part, and it was good they replayed the 1812 Overture from last year. Though I did notice something I'm not sure other people did. While the Boston Children's Chorus was singing "One Day," there was a news brief sound effect that played when the ticker ran at the bottom of the screen, stating that "Big Brother" was airing on WSBK.

I saw that too. Really classless.
Still think the show was a Dud. Watching Jon Williams conduct his new version of the National Anthem on the PBS Capitol Fourth. Now, that is a class act!

How dare WBZ run a ticker saying "Big Brother" was on Channel 38! They shouldn't have done that. I think the New York fireworks were good, but the fireworks here in Boston were fantastic!
