Athens The Bridge in Athens (circa 1996)

Recently came across the mention of a station I knew nothing about. Probably because it only existed for 90 days. 92.3 WMOQ apparently launched a sort of alternative/AAA format targeting Athens in Jan. of 1996. The party behind this, Scott Hogg, would later become the owner of WMDI in Bar Harbor, ME. The article below gives some idea of the happenings, but seems to be a pretty clear example of why you always get it in writing when doing business (in any business.)

Anyone out there remember this one or heard it?

I remember The Bridge also. It was very short lived. The next thing I knew, it was back to country, like nothing ever changed. Weird

@TJB Did you read the article? I never heard of the station but after reading the article all I could think was what a short strange trip it was.
Yes, I read it. It was crazy...the calls stayed WMOQ also, so when it changed back to country, you thought you may have imagined it... like a weird dream.
