THE "BULL" COMMERCIAL'S

They are with out a doubt the most redneck, obnoxious commercial's I have ever seen. It is embarrasing to have that on TV. This station is a mess, even if I liked country music, I would not listen to this station.

CC ruined it. As with anything they touch.

Most of the Bull's schtick makes Moby look urbane. And remember, Kicks fired Moby for being too corn-pone. Yeah Baby!

I just mute the sound and ogle Jamie. And the offer still stands: If she'll do a commercial in a bikini, I promise to listen to The Bull for a full 5 minutes.

Agreed, I especially like the one where the camera pans down and stays on her chest.

My God, lighten up. The commercials are intended to poke fun of Cledus being a redneck. Some people are looking for a reason to bash C.C. Give them credit for dumping Big D and Bubba and landing a local talent (insert sarcasm here). I for one enjoy the show and the station. At least they're trying to go after Kicks.
Speaking of which, how does a station gets sponsorship for concerts and such? Every time I go to a show featuring a major act (last nights Keith Urban/Carrie Underwood show), Kicks is there as the major sponsor, and they make their presence known. While The Bull did give away tickets on the air and online (even front row), it was very clear that Kicks was the sponsor. I think that if the Bull wants to chip away at Kicks dominance, they will need to land similar sponsorships, like Kicks does with the annual Country Fest. How does a station land those gigs, is it purely $$$$?

Agreed with Jimbo on this. Lighten up a little. You can turn off the TV or change the station.

I find the commercials and (what I could stand of it) the program sophomoric and in a word, bad. So I simply hit another button. They aren't the worst I ever heard/saw, but they make the top five.
I'd suggest ol' Brent take my appropach - listen to something else, and get a TV with a "Previous Channel' button to kill the commercials. Simple, no?

I guess Rodney Ho has an alter ego on this board.

A morning show commercial sophomoric??? No, say it isn't so!!! FM morning shows are for the most part sophomoric by nature (ie, TRG), so why not the commercials?. Give me a break.

Having a TV background, the big issue I've got (and just about every Master Control Operator) is that the technical issues look like it's a bad spot dub, until we realize that it's part of the gimick. Most MCO's are on edge already, and this might give a little jolt to the 'ol ticker one time too many! ;D
