See, they are actually geniuses. Their Christmas listenership is greater right? Instant publicity. Maybe more people who listen to Christmas music would be amenable to Country as compared with AC listeners.

I'm probably the only one here with a big grin on his face. Somehow, the way this Bull is starting, like the Bull I worked for, manages to hit just my taste in country tunes. I'm lvoing it- but then, I loved working the the CC Bull I worked for. We had a GREAT bunch of folks. And knowing what I know, I'm not surprised the station sounds like it does so far.

This is not an endorsement of the station or anything about its management- simply a comment that on a PERSONAL level, I am enjoying.

Yeah, sorry. Their "last ten played" list was old. I'm still trying to get the streaming audio to work. I've "allowed" it everywhere but am getting nothing still.
 
B98.5 and 104.7 The Fish want to thank Clear Channel for the early Christmas gift. Share is such a difficult thing to wrap. How thoughtful.

I had all the radios in my house tuned to 94.9 playing Christmas music (had!) Nothing against country but from now until Christmas I like holiday music in the background. especially Christmas Eve/Day. I don't like to keep changing cd's
I also had the radio in our breakroom tuned to Christmas and when I went in there (before coming to this board) and heard country I started yelling at everyone "who changed the station"
They got their publicity, I also turned it off

If I had a blog, which I don't, so I can't. Apparently some of us who got about a 45 minute ahead of time "sneak peak" at the Bull imaging before they went live at noon misinterpreted some of the holiday stuff and thought they might go ahead with the Christmas music as a kind of compromise phase in. We were wrong, obviously, although I'm sure they'll blend in some of those tunes as we get closer to Monday.

We still don't have a read on when the personality lineup will take over. Maybe not til after the first of the year, but we haven't been able to pry that loose from anyone yet. Maybe Tuesday at the company party after a couple of beers :eek:

Sorry. After a SHORT time here, I thought you were Rodney Ho lol. I just saw the he posts under.......... his name. My bad.

I listened the rest of the day as well and also didn't get a read on the DJ line up. Bummer in one way and kinda cool in another. It's always nice to listen to tunes without commercials or idiots talking over intro's, but at the same time it's nice to know what time it is and what is going on. Besides, I'm a weirdo who doesn't mind listening to commercials if it means I get my entertainment for free.........
 
So much for sans commercials. I tuned in this morning and it sounds like they're running the regular morning show compliment of spots with only country music instead of Randy/Spiff & songs.
