The Bull's Arbitron trend err

I just got this email:

To our Valued Advertisers,

Yesterday we received notice from Arbitron stating that we shared preliminary ratings information, something that is against Arbitron policies.

To quote Barney Fife, 1960's TV Deputy, 'Nip it; Nip it in the Bud.'

Clear Channel Atlanta and 94.9 The Bull would like to apologize for the wrongful use of Arbitron Trends from January and February. Many clients have asked for trend information as an indication of the degree of impact that 94.9 The Bull has had on the radio market, specifically as it relates to the Country Stations. In our excitement to show the advertising community the early success of 94.9 The Bull, we decided to send the preliminary information to the clients requesting it. Arbitron does not allow stations to share this information. We promise to never do this again. We are sorry.

Another great American once said, 'There is nothing to fear but fear itself.'

If you ever have any questions about any of our Clear Channel Atlanta stations, please feel free to contact me directly. My contact information is listed below.

Thank you for your support.

This statement presupposes someone great wrote the 'apology'.

So how well DID the Bull do in key demos? Are they really making any progress with Fems 25-54?
Can anyone with the trends in hand offer any insight?

Any numbers will be sampling numbers. look for more of what they are by Summer or Fall. People will listen just because its new. Demographic data is limited on trends, and the lack of reliability before weighting is the reason for not taking them to the streets.

Speaking of the Bull what's with the new TV commercial? "Real, Comfortable, Country'? What the heck is that? Just two weeks ago it was "If it's Southern we play it" like the famous southerner Don McClain of American Pie fame.
Could these clowns be more all over the board? ???

The woman in the commercial looks pretty comfy before, if you ask me...is it 'cuz she takes her bra off and hangs it on the bull horns?

And who uses bull horns as clothes hooks? At least, on this side of the Mississippi?
