The Bull's Fitz just got a little busier...

I understand all of that. However, he's walking into a heritage show, one that's been done the same way with the same people for over 25 years. Read the story here:

Don't care about "heritage", it doesn't pay the bills.

When Ryan Seacrest took over AT40 they figured out a way to make things work.

They are keeping all of those people, who are used to a certain routine. Even when the show was dropped by ABC Radio about 15 years ago, the staff picked up the ball and self-syndicated the show using the exact same template they had used previously. That's kind of what they're doing here. They have a proven track record. Now they have a new host. He's going to have to work within that framework.
No he's not. There are some staples on the show he will initially need to adhere to, but sticking with a certain group of people "just because" is not today's radio. They'll get rid of Kingsley's name in due time.

The other thing mentioned in the story is Fitz has another existing syndication deal for another countdown show and some other programs. It's with another company. I doubt they're going to just let those affiliates go to this competitor. How do they handle that?

That's the other syndicator's problem, they have a contract with those stations.

You're looking at all of this wrong. Nobody cares about ABC Radio or what people did 15 years ago, radio is a what can you do for me now business.

Your comments ignore the fact that this show is owned by Kingsley's widow. That's what KCCS Productions is. She owns the trademark. This isn't like AT40 or iHeart. Very different situation. He could easily have stayed with his Hit List show where he was the boss, but he didn't.

Heritage still doesn’t pay the bills.

The hit list show wasn’t cutting it, so he went to a known and established brand and gets their station list. Win-win situations for both parties as Fitz gets to bolster his ego with a larger audience and Kingsley’s estate gets more money.

It still doesn’t matter what ABC Radio staff did 15 years ago. It doesn’t matter where Fitz does his show, listeners don’t care if the voice tracks are cut from Bellevue or Dallas.

Nobody's asking the listeners. It's not up to them. It's up to Nan Kingsley. She owns the show. It's her call. We'll see what she does very soon.

What are you talking about? Did you see anything about Fitz moving to Dallas? Kingsley clearly doesn't care where the voice tracks come from. From a business perspective, it's a win-win for both sides. Why is all of this so damn hard to understand?
