The Bull's New Jingles

Not sure about the jingles, but I like what I hear, both with the music, and the way they're going after Kicks by name. The latest is them saying that their 60 minute commercial free "Bull Ride" is way more than 10 in a row, obviously referring to Kick's main stay.
That being said, I think the Bull missed a golden opportunity during the ACM Awards Sunday night. While Kicks ran the same commercials we've seen before during these Country award shows (I only saw 2, but they were the same), The Bull was absent again. This would have been a perfect chance to grab Kicks by the horns :) and counter that 10 in a row is no big deal, give us a listen. Clear Channel must have no advertising budget at all because as much as the Bull goes after Kicks on their own air, last night would have gotten a huge Country audience, a lot of whom are most likely Kicks listeners.

The Bull is sounding really good, but CC is going to have to market the station off the air to be successful. And that marketing has to be compelling. Listeners have been burned so they'll need a strong reason to try The Bull again. I hope they're working on a campaign and just haven't launched it yet.

The Bull does have some clever imaging, including the stuff going after Kicks. I heard a piece that said they just know that if you turn on Kicks, commercials will be playing. I punched up the Kicks button and sure enough they were! They've obviously studied the Kicks clock.

I think the Bull is just waiting to see if they get a Cadillac before they spend anymore money.
