I thought I'd discovered a new station when I spotted the station's nifty vehicle this week but it looks like they've been on the air for over a year.

I know right? I was probably the only one who watched when they were discussing the station on WHPX ION 26 out of New London. It was on at 6AM on a Thursday Morning a couple months ago.Skynet74 said:100 Watts. Enjoyable for about 10 minutes as you drive through the listening area. Sounds good though based on the stream. To bad most people will never even know about it.

Is the antenna being moved from its current position?
The operators of WSUB don't care to hit Providence.100 watts over 50 miles from Providence. Not happening. It's an LPFM.Necrat said:kenwood101 said:dansteely said:After April 1st, the station will get out at least three times as far! It is being moved to the same smoke stack that the Horizon Christian Fellowship station operates from in Westerly.

The big problem 96.7 faces is the terrain down there does not favor Providence reception. There won't be a big improvement into Providence from the current site. The big improvement will be in South County, which is their target area anyways.
