I read about this in a newspaper article, but it looked like WVBZ was going back to active rock. Radio Insight says no such thing. There's a lot of classic material in the playlist they have, and I don't mean metal.
I had an opportunity to sample this later that day. They had a lot of members of bands introducing themselves. It sounded like an active rock group of performers to me, except for whoever was with Pink Floyd. The guy with Guns 'n Roses burped.
A recorded voice talked about hunting your own food and changing Chuck Norris' oil. The first song sounded kind of wimpy to me and the next two were rap. I doubt rap is that big a part of the format, but maybe I just tuned in at a bad time.
