The Buzz

Winds are blowing that the end of this format is near. This station should never have gotten rid of Marc Summers and the Morning Buzz.

What are you, a 93 Rock employee who wishes someone cared about your station? This is probably the 50th time I've heard rumors of Buzz flipping (most rumors say to Spanish "El Buzzo") over the last 10-12 years, and it's still going strong. It's the best station I've ever heard in the Alt/New Rock format and I don't think it will be going away anytime soon, esp. now with the new local AMD show in place. Such rumors of the Buzz's demise are greatly exaggerated...

Not questioning your opinion, as it's to each his own, but what makes you feel like they're the best the format has ever seen? I've spent some time listening to them lately, and I completely disagree. Their music is wholly unfamiliar, their imaging is maybe the worst I've ever heard (completely dated, attempting to be funny and missing the boat completely), and their ratings have never been good.

Can you shed some light on why the high praise?

You are right about their imaging. The station sounds like it is trapped in 1995 with that style. Even if you dig the new rock, it is definitely a turn off having to sit through 20 second sweepers with annoying sound clips. Get to the next song already. I don't have to hear your imaging and your jocks re iterate over and over again that you play the most new rock every hour. Just play the new stuff and stop stopping down for 15 seconds between every song just to let us know, and then put some zany movie/tv clip in it. We know what new music sounds like, and we know what the old stuff is.

I really like the fresh play list, but man the imaging and voice guy sound like they should be on the gator. Freshen it up with Steve Stone, Malcolm Ryker, or something "NOW" sounding. Oh and can you please update to a production library that is from after the year 2000. Thanks!

/No slam on there imaging guy, because I am sure he is just doing what he is told.

//Whats with the random British chick on the production? I guess a attempt at being cutting edge.
