The Buzz's "Flip"

After thinking about it, I think the format flip is bogus. If I remember correctly the KLOL flip to Mega 101 in Houston happened with no warning or stunting and same with the Kiss in Denver when it became Mega 95.7. Someone please correct me if I am wrong. I find it interesting that on the sweepers with the mexican chic that all of them end with a Buzz sweeper. Again, when a station is stunting a format change, those sweepers usually dont promote that which they are going to get rid of. With that in mind I think its not a format change, just a promotion for The Buzz.

Even if they do flip Mega, what the hell since does that make to do on a rock station that takes a few points away from KATT. Take one of the hillbilly stations (KXY) and turn it mega.

You make a very interesting point and observation. I am beginning to wonder if it IS a hoax.

I think both for the crap-kickers @ CC-OKC are going pretty well finacially. I would doubt they'd want to flip either of them.

Na, I think it is an amusing stunt. The way it was executed was a lot better than others have attempted it in the past. I hope this gives The Buzz a bit of fresh air.

Regardless if you like it or not, you know it had to have The Katt and Citadel wondering if they were going to go Mega for a minute.
