Doug Moe: Tales of Taser use often amusing

It's a crowded field, but the worst radio host in Madison during the decade or so I have been writing this column was probably Chris Krok, who spent about three years here (2001-2004) on WTDY/AM 1670.

Krok spent most of his time trying to call attention to himself by being outrageous. In 2004 he failed upward to a station in the Twin Cities, and recently failed upward again to another station in Atlanta, WSB/AM, where he handles the late night shift.

One night last week in Atlanta, Krok decided to prove his point that the use of Tasers by police saves lives by having himself Tasered live on the radio. ...
