The CC Axe Goes National

Fox Sports Radio lost a ton of talent this past week: Craig Shemon, James Washington, Andrew Siciliano, Krystal Fernandez, Ben Maller, Karen Kay, and Jorge Sedano. Meanwhile, Geneseo grad JT The Brick survives the cut. How long is anyone's guess. Who's next? Jim Rome?

"Premiere" Coverage

Rumor has it that Lee, Bain, & the Mays family have issued a decree that Premiere revise their Super Bowl coverage. They got two choices:

1. Voice track the Super Bowl to save on overtime, or

2. Just put Madden NFL 2008 on "auto" with Pittsburg vs. Arizona, and feed the audio down the network.

I don't know if anyone remembers but back in the early '70s NBC broadcast an NFL game without the use of a play-by-play man and a color analyst. They simply used captioning to describe what was going on on the field. You think maybe we could start seeing that again?

rome isn't going anywhere except to the basement 6 weeks a year, but he got canned either sattelite or espn radio would be there to grab him up.
