"The Charlie Kirk Show"

Charlie Kirk's widow just spoke and said Charlie's radio show will continue. Here's my question. Is it going to remain called "The Charlie Kirk Show" much how "The Kirk Kraddick Show" remained as such after his death? Or will they just bring back Dennis Prager via ISDN?

It sounds like the show's crew would like to continue the show:

Salem is in a tough place. Contractually, they need to keep the show name to retain the affiliates, so I'd expect them to keep it in place for at least 90 days. It becomes an audition for the crew. You mentioned Kraddick, and his crew has been able to hold the audience.

I remember when Rush Limbaugh died, Premiere swore they would run Rush reruns forever. That didn't happen of course.
Losing quite a few of Rush's non-iHeart-owned affiliates after the 90-day mark forced their hand.

Personally I wouldn't be surprised if Jack Posobeic took over the show (he already took over the 2pm hour Dennis Prager was to have hosted but physically no longer could) and it is billed with Charlie's name, not dissimilar to Kidd Kraddick.

Rush ended in my market before the 90 days but before Bogino started. They went all local during the day. Wish they'd have stayed with that. I can't even imagine tuning in talk radio now.

It's a discussion of a radio show that might be -- aw hell, will be -- affected by politics. Beyond just political rants.
Except yet again people are injecting their personal political opinions into the thread and discussing topics that have nothing to do with broadcasting. And to the person who keeps sending me emails from fake addresses to report these posts, please stop.
