"The Cooker" is back on the air!

When Clear Channel made its "brilliant" move and flipped WDSJ from smooth jazz to country (how's that 5th or 6th country signal in the market working out for ya'?) one of the casualties was long time Dayton jazz jock Clay "The Cooker" Collins. Well starting October 1st you can hear him again on WDPS 89.5 from 9:15 'til noon Monday through Friday. Nobody in this town knows or plays jazz like Clay (Mama Jazz was a close second but she's retired). Welcome back "Cooker"! Sinatra, Tony, Sarah and the big bands live!

I'm in Louisville, but listened to the station over the internet. Was sad to discover its demise a few months ago. Is his new station streamed online? Please pass along that this net user was a fan.
