The Cool TV comes to Terre Haute and Fort Wayne.

TV related, but of note that at least two of LIN's CBS affiliates in Indiana are now carrying "The Cool TV" diginet.

WTHI-TV in Terre Haute has replaced their radar/NOAA weather radio feed on 10-2 with the network.

WANE-TV in Fort Wayne has put the service on 15-2, and has moved their weather feed to 15-3.

Indianapolis (likely WISH-TV, though they also have WNDY), and Lafayette (WLFI-TV) are also supposed to sign on The Cool TV. 11 stations altogether in the corporation have signed with the network.

WLFI in Lafayette now has Cool TV on 18.2. It appears that 18.3 has been created for their doppler radar channel, but for now its showing their main channel in Standard Def with no audio.

I'll take the radar. Personal taste here, but I don't see the need for a video rap channel. At least thats what they were playing when I flipped it on.

This just gives me one more reason to look at the weather channel.

Couldn't they do the radar or this video thing on 10.3?

I just wish they would have put some effort into doing local HD. Right now they only pass CBS HD and don't do local HD. Of course that would mean they would have to clean up the set and maybe a little plastic surgury for the local talnet ;D

I hope that WTHI's phones rang off the wall...a day or two after the radar was dumped for this, Severe Weather broke out in the WTHI-TV viewing area and from my understanding, the rap music was more important than airing vital weather information. It's one thing to add another sub-channel in addition to the weather radar, but killing it off completely? What were they thinking?

Um, surely the necessary weather information was available on 10.1. If not, then WTHI has deeper issues than a music video channel.

They tell me it wasn't on 10.1! Maybe Cool TV was so Cool the whole staff was watching it while the storm was passing by.

What is Cool TV? I don't think any stations are playing this in Louisville.
