I have attempted to listen to the "new" Cowhead Show on 98 Rock the past two mornings. Although I very much enjoyed Cowhead & Brent on Outlaw 92.5, it has been a bit of a struggle. At this point I am blaming myself for not being part of the "target" audience for the station and the show. Anyone else care to comment? Im hoping what Coehead says is true, that he is going to get 98Rock off their ass and make it kick ass like it once was.

I only rarely caught moments of Cow on 92.5, but nonetheless think the 98 Rock morning drive slot sounded A-OK on my two days' brief listens during my short drives to work. And it leads into "Big Rig" Ronnie Michaels at 10 a.m., an old pro who deserves major kudos for his solid and steadfast work at 98.

I think Matt was good in the afternoon drive slot, thats when I used to listen to him a lot coming home. But its only been a few days so i'll wait and see how things turn out. But so far I like the show. Hey 'Big Rig' keep up the good work in your time slot.

Come on... Come up with something better than that. Rig is ALWAYS prepped. He is the one guy that actually pulls off voice tracking in other markets. He sounds like he lives in the city he tracks. That's pretty tough if you don't spend the time to do your homework! And he's loyal to his fellow peeps.
