the coyote.....

so after the commercial free bizness, they now have a morning show, midday chick, afternoon drive, and evening jock. they gave away tons of concert tixs, now they are giving away 1 truck.....why not 5 trucks, make it easy for people to win, giveaway 1 truck a week, they need update their website, pics of the jocks, maybe a studio webcam, pics of the truck to be givenaway, pics of their promo vans/trucks if they have any yet, events pics/calendar, concert calendar.....(live audio) but I tend to agree with the posts earlier about the midday girl, she sounds like she is reading every word on the cue card, no variety in her voice, sounds like she is not confident at all, or that she has ever done country radio....at least rick taylor did mornings at SF radio country market 957 the bear, and there show should be called TNT!!!:) I hope things get better in the new year, they have the chance of a lifetime to challenge KWNR, and they need to start right outta the gate, and with the NFR in town, they could be missing a great chance to do it, hit the streets hard with promo teams, give aways tshirts, stickers, more chances to win the truck, drive the truck around........

Coyote Country does not even seem to have confidence in its own medium. The jocks are always mentioning TV shows ("The Faith Hill special is on tonight...Garth will be performing on David Letterman," etc). This, to me, seems like the wrong approach. If you're in radio, you should have the attitude that you're working in the most exciting area of all.

Not Coyote. On the morning show, they even aired a clip of a TV performance, calling it a "special exclusive." Well, Coyote, I own a VCR too, but when I play a tape for friends, I don't put a banner over my house acting like it is the Second Coming.

I said for a long time that KWNR needed competition. But is this the best anybody can come up with? I'm bored already.
