The CW Daytime

Now that Tyra will ending her talk show later this year, what will become of the CW's weekday schedule? Or won't there be anything on at all?

The CW has a daytime TV schedule? Good grief! Who knew?
How cringeworthy.

I didn't even know that CW had a daytime schedule. I thought her show was syndicated. Based on her own website, her show's on CW stations. So maybe Warner Brothers (the main producer of her show) must have required Tyra's show to be on CW stations.

Where to watch Tyra

Orrrrr....the CW saw a show, that, yes, was a part of the extended family, and bought it.

Until the fall of 2009 TYRA was syndicated and Judge Pierro was on The CW. Then they flip-flopped the two. Tyra went to CW and Judge Pierro went to syndication.

Maybe Judge Jeanine Pirro was on your local CW affiliate. Her show however was never on WGN-TV in Chicago (CW affiliate). In Chicago, her show has been on WFLD (Fox) & WPWR (My). I could be wrong, but I never saw Judge Jeanine Pirro on WGN-TV since the show was on. I was surprised to learn that her show is taped at NBC Tower in Chicago (Where Jerry Springer, Jenny Jones, & Steve Wilkos used to tape their shows).

WGN/9 is a different animal. They never carried Kids WB. The Daytime Kids WB Block was replaced by WB Daytime (now CW Daytime). Different sitcoms and dramas have filled the CW Daytime block until last year when Judge Pirro took over. Some of the different shows in The Daytime WB/CW block included: Reba, ER, Jamie Foxx, Wayans Brothers, 8 Simple Rules, etc.

Judge Mathis produces The Judge Pirro show. The show aired on CW for its first season in 08 and moved to syndication (in a lot of cases on FOX O&Os) in 2009.

WCIU has been airing Judge Mathis for a few years in Chicago. WCIU has plenty of room to add what they want, since they're an independent station (and a goood one too, since the old WPWR-TV days under Newsweb). WFLD and/or WPWR-TV might have had his show in the past. WGN-TV seem more interested in having Maury, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and Rachel Ray for their daytime lineup, besides Tyra.
