WIS-TV, the Gray Television NBC affiliate in Columbia, S.C. (DMA 74), is becoming Columbia’s new home for The CW Network this fall. Viewers will be able to watch their favorite CW shows on WIS subchannel 10.2 starting Sept. 30. The CW currently is carried on WKTC.
“This is a game changer for the Columbia television market,” said Lyle Schulze, WIS-TV’s vice president and general manager. “Having The CW affiliation on our digital channel will allow us the opportunity to serve more people in the Midlands by providing more options for award winning news, weather, and entertainment programming. We can’t wait to welcome The CW Network and its ground-breaking shows to their new home on WIS.”
