I honestly like the way things are going ;D I'm loving LMFAO's new track
The next step would be to incorporate what is going on in CHR now and mesh that in with dance artists that are core in nature to come up with the "uptempo" format (92.3 Now MEETS Pulse 87). Take what's happening right now on CHR with artists such as LMFAO, Rihanna, BEP, and mesh that in with artists such as Kim Sozzi, Lucas Prata, Sylvia Tosun; including going into the electronic DJ culture (David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Bob Sinclar, Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, etc.) which has been on the rise as well and you can create something VERY exciting for radio.
As it is, I do like what 92.3 Now has been doing, especially with the Saturday Night mix shows (Will Calder, Yonny, DJ Suraci) just to name a few. If 92.3 Now can be that station further down the road, great...but I'd sure would be interested to see what would happen with 101.9 as well.
Right now the "cycle" favors dance, just as it favored "hip-hop" back in the early 90's - mid 2000's. Personally I do believe the time is ripe right now to go "uptempo". It's just a matter of convincing hardcore fans that THIS IS what we have to accept if anything is going to continue to grow further for our music,
