Nice list, but no mention of Nile FM Egypt, or Bay FM South AFRICA...... both stations have the Similar to Z-1035 sound........ Other wise, thanks so much for the list, I see that in Greece you removed Power FM Volo's, and and Life FM 102.9..... Great Choice for taking my advice to check those out again. Both stations used to be like Z-1035, but their not anymore, both lean Adult-Rock.....

It seems Greece has lost alot of Dance stations over the past few years. Greece used to have tons of Dance-Top 40 stations, but they have all either moved away from dance, or disappeared.... Loud Radio 88.8 used to be a good one in Greece, but they are adult top 40 now.

Bay FM only appears to be Dance friendly at certain hours of the day, but not consistently. At least that's been the case every time I've listened, but I'll keep my ears out for em.
Been listening to Nile FM for the past hour and have only heard a single Dance song. I did hear Miley Cyrus as well though.
I also could have included stations like FM 92 in Dubai, which is Dance heavy on the weekends (with excellent global DJ shows), but the rest of the week is Hot/Modern AC. Speaking of Dubai, it appears Channel 4 104.8 is now Adult Top 40 while the new Virgin Radio station is pure CHR/Pop, and is Dance friendly.

I also sadly didnt hear any Dance songs on WBWB B-97 Bloomington when I was heading home from Indianapolis. I didnt actually make it to Bloomington , but did stop in Columbus for a bit (nothing to write home about, though the architecture is supposed to be unique). Had a lot of fun in Indi though - went to the Fashion Mall at Keystone, the wealthy suburbs of Zionsville and Carmel, which both have fun downtowns with cafes, shops, and art galleries. From there I headed down to the Broad Ripple area, a very popular place with the local college kids, and very hip. Then I proceeded to downtown Indianapolis, which is great b/c all the main streets are right off that big monument circle. Indi is one of the few cities in the Midwest that will soon have more then one Nordstrom location (there's already one downtown, and the other will be opening soon at Keystone). A day earlier I was in Columbus, which is okay, but not as fun as downtown Indi, or downtown Cincinnati. I did enjoy my walk around the German Village in Columbus, which is very reminiscent of Europe, and a bit reminiscent of Covington (a suburb of Cincy), and Easton Town Center was also nice. The Rock stations in Ohio are AWESOME!! Cincy has 94.9 The Sound for Modern Rock, the legendary WEBN 102.7 for mainstream Rock, and the newer 96 Rock for Active Rock. Both 96 Rock and WEBN had a cool "attitude" and liners. Columbus has two Modern Rock stations with heritage CD 101 (which plays Hot Chip's "Ready For The Floor"), and the newer Radio 106.7 (played a lot of 90s Modern Rock), 99.7 The Rock, and even the Classic Rock station 96.3 Q-FM was cool. For Top 40 radio I especially enjoyed Radio Now 100.9 in Indi. 99.7 DJX Louisville was good too, and the new Hits Now from Dial Global (which has been picked up by the Star FM stations in Elizabethtown and Glasgow-Mammoth Caves). 97.9 NCI Columbus sounded solid, Channel 94-5 (now simply known as Nine Four Five) had improved, Kiss FM Cincy was good too. There's an area in Kentucky south of Elizabethtown where I was able to pick up kiss FM and DJX Louisville, the Hits now stations (on 107.3 Elizabethtown and 106.5 Glasgow), Woohoo 107 out of Bowling Green, and Q-104 Camblesville - talk about CHR heaven!! ;D

Yeah, but DJX and Kiss are both Spotty past E-town. There's a station in Nashville on 99.7 that hammer's on DJX in E-town during Skip. Both DJX and Kiss are actually in Indiana, WZKF is licensed to Salem, but their stick is in a little farm town called Greenville Ind.

If you went from Indy to Columbus you were out of range of B-97 Bloomington. B-97 barely makes it out 20 to 25 miles, since they only have 1650 watts, at under 300 ft Haat. You wont always here Dance every hour on B-97, but sometimes you might here 2 or 3 dance songs an hour, thats if you count the Dance Mixes of Pop songs they play. They dont play much Dance during evenings aside from the 5 o clock Road Rage, which is all Dance and no Hip Hop. They also have a Dance Mixshow on Week day mornings at 5 A.M called the Morning Wake Up call, but they cut it off at 5.45 for 15 minutes of news, followed by their Not So Funny morning show..... Aside from the Dance on WBWB, I think Radio Now 100.9 is the much more entertaining and profesional station to listen to, you wont here much dance on WNOU, but they play all the hits, new music intensive, and have good upbeat jocks. They do have a Dance Mixshow with a Live to Air DJ on Saturday nights beginning at Nine and goes to 2 AM, No Hip Hop, but lots of Progressive, tribal, Drum and Bass,,, Everything for the true club head, I think its called Club Vegas.

Clubber, in my post I actually mentioned two cities by the name of Columbus

My trip began in Columbus Ohio, from there I headed through Springfield (awful looking and deserted downtown) and Dayton beofre making my way to Indianapolis. Coming back I stopped along the way in Columbus, Indiana, which is a mere 40 mins from Indi.

Oh, and you mentioned Greece. I think it's important to remember that Athens finally has a Dance station, and that Thessaloniki (second largest city) has Geronimo Groovy now. In the 90s Geronimo Groovy was one of the top CHR networks in Greece, and was very Dance friendly.
