After contemplation of what I once thought was a bazaar move by David to come on board at TVY, I think I now recognize the brilliance of his plan.

Consider this phrase. “Revenge is a dish best served cold” suggesting that emotional detachment and planning (a stint at BAM and a year and a half at WOOF) are best for taking revenge.

And from where would this plan be best executed but from within one’s own enemy’s camp.

Remember that after nearly a year of sitting on the sidelines (DJR non-compete) with a promise from Styles of doing mornings on TVY things suddenly changed.

Enter Amie Pollard and the rest is history.

So children I present this theory. It is not his true desire to do afternoons on TVY and not his desire to do mornings with Amie on TVY

but to be on a WTVY minus Amie Pollard period ! ! !

It's been less than one full year since this thread appeared. The Wattcher was very close. If Mr. Sommers' intention was revenge then he has accomplished it beautifully. AP off mornings at the heritage station and now on a fixer-upper with a Western foot print, massive upheaval on the 8th floor while he does his afternoon show in tranquility and innocence at the big dog.

Wow. Mr. Sommers has a great career on the national political circuit if desired. Wow.
