Not sure if anyone had heard or not, but former WIMT/T-102-LIMA & WIMA/1150-LIMA owner Les Rau died yesterday. It was in this mornings Lima News.
I don't want to sound too sentimental here, but if it wasn't for Les Rau...quite frankly, Lima radio would never have become what it did...and therefore, I probably would never have had the opportunities that I did. I don't know how anyone else feels about him, but I feel that he not only set the standard and paved the way for a lot of people to come through the market, but also paved the way for a lot of things and events to happen in the market.
That is one funeral that I will definently be attending!
