The Difference Between History Channel & WRKO "News"

I was listening to WRKO-AM at 4:00 pm Sunday just before Bob Brinker's "Money Talk". WRKO aired a so-called "newscast"at that time which included no NEWS, but events from several days earlier: a natural gas-caused (probably) explosion in Somerset, MA on Thursday; Boston Mayor Menino's trip to DC to meet with The Prez, that may have occurred Friday. The ONLY thing that was current was the temperature; even the Bruins score was nearly 24 hours old. WBZ must love this! (BTW, Bob Brinker commented on Governor Patrick's proposed gas tax hike...his show is almost newsier than WRKO itself.)

At least 'BZ's news (after 8 p.m.) is more current than 'RKO's is any day! On the TV side, you could say the same thing about WHDH-TV! ;D

WHDH-TV...what a joke!! (BTW, any truth to Barry Amstrong's "Money Matters" going to WRKO?)

Not as bad as when WKOXKS would run a "best of" Stephanie Miller show on the weekend, including the news, weather, and traffic from the program earlier in the week that they were repeating. I once drove miles out of the way to avoid a supposed traffic jam on 128 that actually had happened the previous Tuesday.. ;D
