THE DIFFERENCE between two "Countrys"

The official U.S. Army estimate for the WCOS Concert last night on Fort Jackson was an amazing 12,000 attendees! That is quite an accomplishment for a show only advertised on one local radio station. Pictures are on WCOS website. Even the stage looked like a major "Colonial Center level" production. Jamie O'Neal, Andy Griggs, Trick Pony, Josh Gracin and a newcomer, Luke Strickland were incredible. See the pix at wcosfm.com, click on "station" and then "photos."

At the same time, photos from the WWNU Wal-Mart appearance show about 100 stragglers gathering in front of a small riser, listening to Jeff Roper and Trent Wilmon (check the spelling on that one) in a Wal-Mart parking lot.

The one thing I guess these two station events had in common is they both pulled more than ten percent of their respective Cume to one event.
