The Doctor Is Out At K92

Hmmm... Sounds like OrlandoGM knows something we don't. Perhaps Doc will be in the house at another station soon?

As OrlandoGm seems to know what happened to DOC at K-92FM and the rest of don't, we can only speculate as to DOC's demise. So let's have some fun and speculate. It's a $$$ issue, DOC asked for more $$$ Len Sheckelford then replied "I don't think so" and with that a small argument ensued, DOC's boxer's went into a tail spin and scrunched-up as it quickly became obvious to DOC that both of the boys were not going to play nice from there on out nor were they going see eye to eye over $$$, so without further a due and a quick swish from Len's pen, an untimely mutual understanding took place at K-92FM, the boy's parted ways DOC cleaned out his locker took his toy's escorted from the building and thus went home leaving Len Sheckelford high and dry without a morning guy, for the moment.

Purely speculation mind you, but now that the dust has settled the "OH WOW" syndrome comes to mind, now that DOC is officially out of work he's probably thinking "OH WOW" what just happened and what did I do? However DOC is now free wonder around line-up and look for another job, as their just so available, we wish him well and good luck...

Doesn't he have to wait six months now, though? (Unless there was no non-compete in the Cox deal.)

Hey DtotheJ: Maybe, although at one time Cox wasn't really big on No-compete clauses, however
DOC is still under contract and depending how his contracts reads and if there is a no compete they can be in the upwards of a year plus, I don't think that's the case here.

Something jumped off mid stream at K-92FM by the up-stairs boys and DOC, and unless it's some sort of rating's promotion bit, which I hardly suspect, DOC is off-air and K-92FM is still shopping for a morning guy.....

Apply within..........

Doc has said he is still under contract to Cox, and Len Shackelford stated the same to Scott Maxwell. Just speculation, but Doc's "vacation" was the start of something. He started at K92 in September of 2007. Not knowing his contract, I'd say there is a good chance negotiations were going on and they couldn't come to terms.

Think the exact quote from that company is "Wish him well in his future endeavors!"

Thankyou Captain Parrot: We do wish him well, but hey old radio personalities don't die, they just end up on a reality TV show......
