the doghouse

I'm a Doghouse homer, so I am probably least objective on this topic. I find it the same as their show lately as it was in the later days at Wild. I think they are trying to sway from that shock jock radio.

Jv even said that is tired and that everyone in the nation is doing it and they want to sort of move in a different direction. I doubt they will have as many prank calls--if any, in this short trial period.

It can also be that they don't want to be too foul, beacuse it is merely a tryout basis and don't want to push any buttons too soon.

But it is still great to have them back. Them at 50% is still better than a lot of other shows out there.

well, going from a WILD station with street stunts, giveaways, music in the morning, tons of regualr callers, and bashing of management on air is great, now moving to an ALL TALK station, they are kind of limited by what they can do, and I'm sure the infinity lawyers are constantly listening in to see what happens next, that is going to dramatically change their overall style of how they do radio, the days of doghouse RAW and the doghouse comedy jam are gone, say what you want when the dogs were on wild with high ratings or low ratings THEY were the station to listen to in the morning. except for L&T, I can't think of another morning show next to mancow or when rick chase was on mornings at KMEL that bay area morning radio sounded better.

I think that now they are dealing with a crowd that is a little bit older and more sophisticated than the children who listen to WILD.

Does anyone else think that this is just a test to see if they can behave themselves and take directions for 10 weeks before any type of decision is made?

That would be a reasonable presumption.

i believe it is a tryout to see where they will fit in. I also noticed several of my friends saying theyare "dull" however i this better, i think they need to either go for the older audiance or get a new gig with a MUSIC station. I believe that is what my friends (all in the early to mid 20's) are missing.

With Adam Corolla coming in January, I believe da dawghouse will move over to LIVE 105 and take Howies time slot.

Maybe it's because I've grown accustomed to flipping between the BBC World Service and O&A on XM, and was never a doghouse fan before, I have to admit that I found them dull.

Their bit this morning about animal rights and Oliver the Chimp was *un*listenable.
