THE DOO WOP VAULT

If you are looking for great, rare collectors cuts of 1950's early 60's Doo Wop, R&B vocal groups and acappella, then tune into the Doo Wop Vault. Chock full, loaded with cuts you will not hear on any other show. So get ready to have your back crack, your knees freeze and your liver quiver. In Pottstown on www.wbzh.net in Central, PA www.wkva920.com if you missed the show, just log onto the 24/7 podcast at www.doowopvault1950s.podomatic.com

WGBB at 1240 on Long Island has 'Mickey D's Jukebox Review' on Friday nights from 7 to 10 pm. He plays a lot of Doo Wop, and frequently is accompanied by members from the groups.
One can listen on line by hitting the "Listen Live Now" button at the top of the page below:

The funny thing is, during the day, the 1000 watt signal almost reaches Philly because of the water, but the programming is Japanese from 6AM 'til 6PM.

That's the problem with stations that are a hodgepodge of everything, they care nothing about formats, care nothing about music, just selling airtime.Owning a station is an investment, not a passion. The listening audience isn't carried over from one show to the next. Getting advertisers is a whole different problem. Imagine talking to a potential advertiser, and he turns on the radio and hears foreign programming, it's the kiss of death.
Anyway, the Doo Wop Vault is a collectors showcase, so tune-in 24/7 at www.doowopvault1950s.podomatic.com and itunes too!!!as I said, this is used as an archive for the people that missed the show on terrestrial radio.
