THE DOO WOP VAULT

Hey all you Doo Wop fans in Pittsburgh, I know you love your vocal group harmony, so tune into the syndicated show "the Doo Wop Vault". We play very rare 1950's early 60's Doo Wop, R&B vocal group harmony, rock and acapplla. It isn't your typical "oldies" show, it is a real collectors showcase. You can access the show anytime, 24/7 at www.doowopvault1950s.podomatic.com it's also available on itunes too!!!

Especially for many of people of the age to like DooWop. :p

To assume that its only "old" people that listen to Doo Wop is very ignorant and uninformed. Obviously you've never attended any of the concerts or viewed any of the e-mails I receive, or the fans on my FB page who follow the show that span the age of late teens on up.You buying into the crap that corporate radio has spread like fertilizer.

That's nice, but blue text on a black background still is hard to read. Try changing to grey. Much better look.

I can see you are a never ending well of deep, deep deep information. those who never retract their opinions, love themselves more than they love the truth. just wish you had one to retract.

I have nothing against doo-wop, but by the style and era of the music, it tends to attract older people. That's
fine; so does WJAS and much of the oldies programming on WKFB. Concerts, emails, and FB fans are anecdotal
evidence and really can't be translated to the public at large. And believe me, I don't like corporate radio but it
does get ratings/listeners.

That said, I do wish you the best of luck with your podcast. The Internet is one more way to help to keep the
music alive.

Thanks for the Good wishes, but like I said, i'm on a few terrestrial radio stations, the podcast is only used as an archive for past shows. As far as corporate radio getting the listeners, yeah, it would, if all they are playing is geared toward the younger audience, then that's all they'll get. There is an old saying, if all you are fed is garbage, then garbage is all you'll know.

I didn't criticize you personally and your post is out of line.

I simply think we've heard the "corporate radio" rants from internet startups, low power FM people, and other niche broadcasters way too often. I said nothing about you personally, or your program for that matter.

Now show some class.
