With this HJY contest, if you actually win, how much do you have to pay in taxes? I won $1000.00 bucks once from a Boston statiion, and had to pay about $189.00 in taxes at the end of the year. A 2005 Corvette costs about $45K. Does the average HJY listener have around $7K to pay in taxes?
My guess is the winners usually take the car and sell it.

7K is still a good price to pay for one so where there's a will there's a way but I do agree many would sell it more because they'd want the money rather than the car.

Not to mention that you'd have to spend another grand to get the HJY logo scraped off the car.
