the "DRIVE" is driving me away...

have been listening to the "DRIVE " on weae for a couple of weeks and have to say...it ain't working...at least for me. scott paulsen may be a talented, legendary morning drive guy from the past, but his rambling on the show is annoying. does he have to be the primary voice all the time? is he aware there are two other people on the show? he repeatedly steps on crow and the football guy making me want to scream!!!!!! crow is funny in the right mix and mike logan knows football, but when a topic is addressed, paulsen burries them with his "expertise".........DO THEY LISTEN TO TAPES OF THE SHOW? was paulsen given the go to be the dominant personality? some other folks who are sports listeners suggest the same thing. i did hear scott on for honsberger at kd one week and thought he sounded great. he's bright and witty...and did'nt have anyone else around to step on.....THE DRIVE IS DRIVING ME TO JOE BENDEL (sp?) WHO IS PRETTY GOOD, BUT TALKING THROUGH LITTLE MORE THAN A MEGAPHONE AT AM 970.......lose the signal in hampton township....

any opinions?
 
I am in total agreement. "The Drive" is a horrible show. The chemistry between these three is clearly not there. I have always thought Scott Paulson was highly overrated. Eddy Crowe has never done it for me. Mike Logan may be the most insightful and interesting of the three. This show should be renamed 'The Drivel".
 
i like it..."THE DRIVEL!!!!!" was just listening to their football 4 hour pre playoff extravaganza.....good lord, paulsen talks 70% of the time!!!!!!!! the appropriate title of the show should be, "THE DRIVEL, WITH SCOTT PAULSEN..........switching to the fm sports stuff, ot's got to be better......by the way, speaking of best football coverage, the dve morning show does a much better job of coverage. they talk like fans, not experts.........
 
Scott is a bright guy, but when he has succeeded in this market he's had a good team around him. He didn't have that at 93.7 and doesn't have it here. He talks 70% of the time because nobody else in the room can bring their game to his level.
