Newly licensed through LoudCity.
This is just a little pet project of mine. It's mostly inspired by the late "The Zone 106.9", but I also air some current Top 40, and lots of European artists as well (partly inspired by KRBE's The Roxy shows) like Ian Van Dahl, Sneaker Pimps (whose "6 Underground" often spun up to 3 times a day on The Zone), etc. It's definitely kind of Houston inspired I think - no other city has had 3 terrestrial stations in the year 2011 airing "6 Underground".
Broadcasting from my apartment off Westcreek @ San Felipe. I can see the Post Oak buildings from my bedroom. Hi COX! Rot in hell

Someday I'll get some professional sweepers/etc. recorded but I can't afford it right now with the licensing and all. (if anyone does this for free, or maybe as barter for ad time, send me an e-mail). I run an Ad Council after every 6 songs or so to break up the monotony (inspired by internet radio station KMGX), and an imitation legal ID every hour.
Streaming is with HE-AAC at 48 kbps, great for smartphones. I could theoretically run 200 simultaneous concurrent streams on the current Icecast server (it is professionally hosted, shared with an advertising network that requires high reliability but little bandwidth, so there's tons of paid for but unused bandwidth sitting around).
Actually, if anyone wants to purchase some streaming slots, I might be interested in doing that to help pay for continuous licensing. The server is extremely reliable, managed and hosted by WiredTree.
Anyway, thanks in advance if you check it out. I welcome criticism, comments, and recommendations.
