Shhhhh......it's a big secret but The Edge is going CLASSIC ROCK!

theres a brilliant idea...regent is on a roll this week!!!how about sticking with the format and tweaking it a bit???? maybe new direction from the new pd??? does anybody have a clue of what is going on in the world over there on kings road??? i bet chili walker is laughing his butt off right now

If they go Classic that might save the Channel from going away. It would allow the Channel to be active rock like they really want to be.
 
And I suppose that it will also be called Q-104, once again too....Something doesn\'t add up. They are simulcasting a morning show from an Alternative Rock station, from grand Rapids, Mi, and they recently installed a Program Director from an Active Rock/Alternative station in Maryland, who previously was at an Alternative station, in New Jersey. And now they will flip to Classic Rock???

Nope. Regent and Clear Channel have a written agreement that none of their Albany FM stations will share the same format. So forget about WQBK going Classic Rock.
And even if it does, WPYX will have to drop Classic Rock in favor of either Active or Mainstream Rock.
