Putting the Adventure Club on The Edge again seems like a no-brainer (to me anyway). If they are going to be less rock and more alt...
Not to mention...FIRE LEX & TERRY!!!

I beg to differ... the Edge will always have Foo Fighters & Peppers & so on, but it used to be all about pushing the new music that was different than the mainstream norm. If the Edge wants to play more Modest Mouse, Interpol and LCD Soundsystem, more power to em.
And now that the Eagle is back I hope the Edge has stopped desecrating its airwaves with Guns N Roses. They were NEVER alternative rock. Metallica I had no problem with on the Edge - they practically invented "alternative metal" - but while I do like GnR (or GnR as they were before 1994, anyway), I really don't want to hear them on the Edge.

Be wonderful to see Lex and Terry go to the Eagle and a different morning show get a chance. I split between NPR and the Jagger show now, but he's only been mildly listenable since Julie left the show and it gets worse by the week (ditch Mondo now...).

That's a Clear Channel thing. According to the COMmies err CONsultants, people would rather listen to what they know over new and upcoming artists. That's one of the reasons why KDGE's playlist has been dumbed down so much. Most of us that seek out the no name artists are left with XM and Sirius to turn to and even their playlists are much to be desired.
Then again, even if they did attempt to re-create the format, we won't ever have the same KDGE that we once did.

The regular staff for the Big CC has come in, to replace the Holiday Skeleton crew....
and 102.1-2 is back on the air....
