If I remember correctly, Charlie & Ty hired Mary White at KUBE around 1985 the same way (sans the Internet of course).
 
Well, when you don't have a mechanism for training new air talent because you've automated and voice tracked the hell out of the industry ya gotta find new announcers somewhere. But I generally think of this sort of thing as a stunt
 
Shows like Movin's AM show don't seem to me to be talent based. You could throw anyone into the mix because the vast majority of listeners tune in for the music. I just don't get why they would add more people to a music based show.
 
WHY would the end change format and what would you have it change it's format to?
If you mean you want them to tweak their music a bit then fine but a format change? not necessary.
