The end of Crime & Investigation Network?

I notice A&E has pulled the plug on its website:

http://www.crimeandinvestigationnetwork.com/

What are they running these days? I think U-Verse and FiOS still carry it, but I wonder if A&E will soon just shut the thing down. A+E Nets seems to have a habit of letting always digital-only channels that never really caught on run, even after they become irrelevant - Military History (somewhat) and Lifetime Real Women are other good examples.

There's only one reason it ran on a few cable systems; to maintain the trademarks in some form in the United States. It's a somewhat popular network in the UK and Asia, but its role in the United States is filled by Bio instead, and that channel basically became a true crime channel because no cable provider took CI in the first place as its own channel, so AETV had to get their shows in via the network with the most distribution, while still getting in a few episodes of Biography here and there to stay within the provider agreement language.

Not on Comcast at all here. Seemed like a good channel when I had FIOS. Lots of Cold Case Files reruns. Sure glad I haven't seen any "Forensic Reality" shows on there yet!

At this point, "Bio" is a stupid name for that channel. They essentially run second-rate paranormal and crime (to ID) shows now. They ought to try naming it "Crime and Investigation" or the like at some point.

Bright House still has it here, but its programming has been mainly repeats on crime-related shows originally seen on the other A&E channels. Apparently, they were having a hard time getting advertisers, as all the ads (besides promos) are Direct Response.
