The era of Heidi & Frank starts ... now!

I really haven't listened either, but in the past I always felt that Frosty was the glue (read: he's the intelligent one) that held the threesome together and more or less kept the other two from straying to far out on a limb. I doubt that the show would be the same or improved in his absence.

Have they mentioned whether they're syndicated?

Our local M&B station (The Eagle 96.9) is not carrying it. Wondering if anyone else is or if it's exclusive to KLOS.

Usually you need to have a track record of success to get a syndication deal. Yes, they've been syndicated before to a small degree, but that was as a trio. They're starting from scratch so to speak. If they get good numbers, it could happen.

What is KSEG doing in the morning's now? They still list Mark & Brian as their morning hosts...

Derek Moore and Kat Maudru. I believe it's temporary though, who knows. In radio, every morning show is temporary unless you're Mark and Brian. :)

I tuned in briefly and they were talking about anal sex. Good to hear something different from the usual political crap (pun intended)

Anal sex on day 2. Wow! That show sounds like the s**t!

So that's how you turnover an audience....or in this case, rollover. ;D

And now for something completely different...

If Bill Handel or John & Ken talked about anal sex ... their audience would evaporate!

Mark & Brian and rolling over in their mansions!

J&K would never even approach that subject with the new politically correct Robin at the helm. They got canned for saying something crude but quite tame about Whitney. They'd be banished to Fallujah if they even mentioned anal sex. They've returned to their safer topics like Gov Brown's age, Viaraigosa's speech impediment or the rail system (yawn). They seemed to be headed to become the blue collar version of Masterpiece Theater.

Where's Leykis when you need him to tell it like it is.

I do miss the dynamics of having Frosty on the show. Somehow it just sounds like a guy and his chick who always agree with each other. Frosty was a good mix to the formula by having Frank tear him apart once every hour or so.

I heard John and Ken and Handel open the back door on the topic in a criptic sort of way a couple of times. I wonder if they would get canned if they tallk to openly about it.

Totally agree about Frosty's role in the relative success of the trio. Always struck me that he was simply more capable than the sum of the other two, whose narcissism was limitless -- and Heidi's incessant cackling, like nails on a chalkboard. The video presented at the end of their KLSX run was self-deification at its worse.
