The Eric Evans Project/Waves of Grace

Stumbled across an interesting one this week from flutist Eric Evans. I love flutists as a change of pace to the usual, like Nestor Torres, Alexander Zonjic, and Althea Rene. This one has a very nice vibe. Check out "Seaside," "Shoreline Hiighway", "Only You Can Believe", and the title cut.

Flute is such a great airy instrument-i've known and worked with some great flute players-maybe now the instrument will be "allowed " back on the radio. It always upset me that no matter how great the track was BA would never approve a track by a flautest. gee that is real encouraging for a musician who dedicated their life to mastering an instrument

Agreed. Alexander Zonjic's "Doin' The D" is very deep, and full of vibe and talented musicians. Yet, BA didn't spin a single cut from the CD, NOT ONE.
